Created in 1985 by J.M. Machet and A. Cosson†, ART ESTAMPE collaborated with many artists, publishers, galleries and companies in France and worldwide (USA, Japan, Europe...) The workshop, initially installed at rueJoncquoy in Paris, moved to Boulevard Martial-Valin, and finally to Gentilly in 1995. At the end of 2006, it was taken on by Lisette & Laurent Schwarz. Among the artists who frequently attended the workshop, are Zao Wou-Ki and Olivier Debré.

• A Marinoni flat machine 70 x 100 cm (matrix : stone or zinc)
• Three Roland presses : two machines 63 x 90 cm, and one machine 78 X 112 cm (matrix : tracing paper)

The ART ESTAMPE Studio produces primarily LITHOGRAPHS
• Original lithographs entirely designed by the artist on stone, zinc or tracing paper. Tracing paper is the most used matrix at ART ESTAMPE workshop.
Jean-Pierre Lacaze will offer his advices councils to young artists who do not yet know the lithographic techniques to help them perfom the colour separations.
• Interpretation lithographs : several draughtsmen-chromists are available to draw the matrices of the lithographs.
• Edition of Photographs in the lithographic process, the result of which is like a phototype.
• Edition of strip cartoonists lithographs
• Portfolios : we carry out the assembly of series of lithographs
• Artists books : we print the lithographs and the texts in lithography or if the customer wishes in typography (sub-contracted), we assemble the covers, texts and lithographs into one.
• Corporate or Artists greeting cards by lithographic process. Together we select the artist most suited to your message and print the greeting card and the accompanying text. It is possible to print a lithograph for top-of-the-range business gifts.
• Reprints of vintage or collectible posters by the lithographic process for museums, publishers, public or corporate accounts.
• Facsimiles of old engravings by the lithographic process for museums, public or corporate accounts.
• Corporate gifts : We look for an artist to express the values of your company and ask him to create a lithograph with your corporate image, or simply we print the artist you like to let him discovered by your clients !

These are very variable, from a few days or weeks to a few months..., according to the nature of work to be carried out (greeting card, lithograph, portfolio or artist's book), as the work is carried out in close collaboration with the artist, sometimes directly onto the matrix in our studio, followed by the printing and to the final touch i.e. the signature !
